Branston Water park

I have made 2 trips here in the last couple of months and really do find it a pleasant place to be.
The variety of walking,  ranging from flat paths around the main lake to Public foot paths across fields and through woods, makes for an interesting time.
A diverse range of wild life is to be found, from the Coots and Swans on the lake, Kingfishers and tufted ducks on the fishing pool the other side of the canal to the numerous smaller bird species in the hedgerows and woods.

This Robin posed for ages.
I am leaving it until we get some colder weather and a bit of frost before the next visit.
