My day off today, so out for the sun rise.
Got down to Rode Pool to catch the rays coming over Mow Cop.
Next on to the motorway and up to Crosby, I have been saying for ages that I would go and take a look at the sculptures on the beach, so last night checked the tide tables.
Arrived to find the tide well out but the sun well hidden, wandered around took a few shots and waited for the sun, Bingo it arrived. Well worth the trip and I hope you like the results, as usual the rest can be found by following the link above to Google+/Picasa.

Wet Sunday at Marton
Went to Marton this morning, it is always a good bet if the weather looks dodgy, better in a hide than outside getting wet.
Quite a lot of activity for a bad day and I only stopped for 4 hours to get quite a good selection.
Bullfinches were showing realy well for a change but only 3 Goldfinches all morning, still it was worth the trip.
As usual the rest are on the Picasa / Google + site.

!st day of March
Had a wander around Doxey Marshes today, it was a very pleasant day but with little to photograph.
Fieldfare, Snipe, Goosander, were all seen but to far away, the ones that were in range are below including the Kingfisher that took me by surprise and only gave me chance to fire off 2 shots.

Pinched the idea off my mate.
Since I am now past retiring age and have reduced my working week to 4 days, Wednesday's are a day of leisure.
Having noticed Tracey and Steve had been to Tatton Park, I decide that today was to good a day not to take some pictures, so, I pinched their idea and went along to have a go at the Deer myself..
The rest are in the usual place on my Picasa / Google site.

Chester in the gloom
Today saw Trace and myself on a wander around a very murky Chester, the rain stayed away for the most part and a trip around the walls brought a few images, some showing the way the ancient constructions are still in use today.
The sign over the door leaves you in no doubt as to what this shop does
Recent flood water has left the river banks in rather a mess
The old walls run through the new and modern buildings creating a mixture of styles
The old eroded walls can clearly be seen at the water tower corner
This down river shot shows just how high the water level still is after all of the recent rains..

1st proper nice day
Only managed to get a couple of hours today, on what was without doubt the best day of the year and a trip to Knypersley resulted in a few images, all of which are here.
